Baby Bales encourage the natural foraging instinct of your rabbit and helps to promote hay eating.
Our Heritage Blend Conservation Meadow Hay is grown in a conservation area on the Hampshire / West Sussex border. Adhering to strict conversation guide lines, these hay fields are grown to promote local wildlife. These fields have been chemical free for around 35 years and contain a vast mix of botanicals.
Depending on exactly where in the field the hay was harvested, the Baby Bale will contain a mix of but not limited too:
Grasses: Meadow Fescue, Timothy, Smooth Stalk Meadow Grass, Rough Stalk Meadow Grass, Crested Dogstail, Meadow Foxtail, Intermediate Perennial Ryegrass, Late Perennial Ryegrass, Cocksfoot, Sheeps Fescue, Sweet Vernal, Oat Grass, Red Clover
Botanicals: Oxeye Daisy, Ladys Bedstraw, Common Knapweed, White Campion, Self Heal, Red Campion, Cornflower, Corn Marigold, Field Poppy, Small Burnet, Common Sainfoin, Yarrow, Yellow Rattle, Birdfoot Trefoil, Common Sorrel, Betony, Corn Chamomile, Field Scabious
Each bale weighs a minumum of 1.1kg
